The median asking price for a Milwaukee-area small business dropped again in the second quarter of 2010, marking the fifth drop in the last six quarters when compared with previous-year data, according to BizBuySell.com, an online business-for-sale marketplace.

The median asking price for 79 businesses in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties was $255,000, down 23 percent from the median asking price of $330,000 in the second quarter of 2009.
